Oh, forgot to say.... she was weighed last Wednesday too. The little bloater is already 12kg - over 2kg heavier than Lulu was at the same age! The vet is already saying she's going to be very big for a retriever!

Update

Well, Ellie has now had her last injections and will soon be allowed out into the big wide world - god help us all!! There was a bonus on Wednesday when she got her injection - she slept virtually the whole evening and gave Lulu a break from having her tail chewed, ears pulled and neck attacked - I know it's only playing but she must get sick!
She made up for being sedate on Wednesday by being hyperactive last night.... poor Lulu didn't know what hit her! Not that we got away with ignoring her - if she wasn't getting enough attention she was nudging, jumping and even barked at me acouple of times... cheeky little git!!!

I knew I was right.... The horns were out again. At 04.05 this morning! It started with a whimper and built up gradually.... not the full banshee howl but enough to cleave your head in half. And it went on. And on. Until 4.45
Just what you need when you have to get up at 6.00 for work.
As if that wasn't enough she started again at 5.30 - but the puppy sitter got up and let her out. Although I was still wide awake from the last outburst anyway.
But of course she's been fine again all day. Think there's some sort of Millie Tant sisterhood going on here!!!

Well isn't that bloody typical... The spawn of the devil turns into a paragon of good behaviour once I'm back at work. No hassle, no yapping, no pulling sticks off trees, no hiding in bushes. Well it'll not last! The little red horns will replace the halo that's presently hovering over her head!!

Well, I've done the ground work (some would say I've done bugger all), but I'm back at work next week. The trials and tribulations of puppy training will be left to the disciplinarian in the house - I'm alltogether too soft! Poor puppy won't know what's going on next week!!
